- Adding a Windows 2003 Server to a Windows Server 2000 Network
- Posted by Diane Alsing on April 4th, 2005
I have just installed a Windows Server 2003 onto my network. I have two
questions:
I would like this server to be available for others on the network to see.
Currently I can only add local users. I have not yet installed Active
Directory on this Server. Would that be my next step? What are the
ramifications of doing this??
I have several networked printers - how do I move them to use the 2003
Server as the print server?
I am ver new to this, so I apologize if the questions are as confused as I
am ;-)
Regards,
Diane
