- Posted by Mark Grimes on July 22nd, 2004
Does anyone know how to disable the the auto lock out
after there has been no activity on the computer for some
period of time. We need this computer to display data
100% of the time without interupption. Any help
appreciated.

Hi Mark,
this could be set at different places. Here is most usual one:
Right click on the desktop and select Properties > Screen Saver set it to
none.
I hope this helps.

Somewhere (in a resource kit or reskit supplement) there is a transparent
screensaver that will provide you with the security you'd want and the
ability to see what's going on. I realise that the notion of a transparent
screensaver is a weird one.

Mark,
Have a look at the Transparent Screen Lock. This does pretty much
exactly what you are asking for.
