- Can open files, but can't save over, rename, or move them
- Posted by Rich on June 27th, 2008
On my Win2K sp4 file server, i have some files that you can open, but you
can't save over them, rename them, or move them to another folder, you get
the It is being used by another person or program. I tried using Process
Explorer to see what had the file open and it couldn't find it. i disabled
backup exec remote agent, diskeeper service (had to kill it cuz it wouldn't
stop normally) and mcafee virusscan 8 related services, and none of those
freed up the files. Help!!!!
