I have a SBS2k3 server and have direct email delivery from
my isp with the proper mx and a records. my previous
server worked fine but slow, therefore the migration.
last night, after configuring email on the new box, i
could send and receive internet mail. today, nada. i
hooked up the old box and it worked. my new server has
given up on receiving mail.
i need a bit of help in tshooting this. after re-running
the mail and internet wizard, it still won't receive
mail. i can send mail, but not recieve any internet mail.
also, when I look in the old server's exchange system
manager, under protocols, i see smtp and it has default
smtp virtual server with current sessions and queues
listed under it. i have no queues listed on the new 2k3
exchange. shouldn't these be there?
