Recently servers running Server 2003 Standard edition were removed from our
"System Test" domain that were running COM+ Applications. After removal of
these servers we realized that the Component Services snap-in hangs when you
expand the Computers folder. Since this is now the sole COM+ server, this
presents a problem. Developers currently Terminal Service into the
environment and use the Component Services snap-in to shut down components so
they can replace .dll files for testing. Testing has now ground to a halt
because the developers can no longer stop components. Is there any way to
remove references to other servers in Component Services without open the
MMC? I have tried loading just the Component Services module from the MMC
authoring console, but the other servers are still listed there and it hangs
the MMC.

Any suggestions?
