in currently using windows 2003 server
I had just installed the compress tools which comes under Windows Resource
Kits
I'm having problem when i'm trying to compress the files in a folder at
command prompt
like this : compress /z e:\Original\AP\ap1batch.dat e:\temp
during the exeution i can see the windows commad prompt executed the command
prompt in this way
Compressing e:\Original\AP\ap1batch.dat to
e:\temp\e:\Original\AP\ap1batch.dat using MS-Zip compression
after that i checked for the zip file at e:\temp & found there were no zip
file created
anyway to solve this?

IIRC, compress will create a compressed file and mark it with "_". So if I
compress mike.exe file I will get mike.ex_
