- DC Security Policy is resettng on reboot
- Posted by Sjoram on October 21st, 2006
Hi,
My DC's Security Policy is resetting on reboot, causing services to
fail to start and no network connectivity.
I have to run the following command, and then reboot, and everything
works, however after the next reboot, I have to do the same again. I
am looking for a more permanent fix if possible.
secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\repair\secsetup.inf /db secsetup.sdb
/verbose

Hello,
have you verified "domain controller policies" and other policies?
Use GMPC to have a complete report.
Bye.

To be honest, I'm not sure which, as I can't make any sense of my event
log!
What I do know is that I have no network or internet connectivity, the
Themes service that I have set to automatic startup in defualt gpo
doesnt start amongst others.
is there any system info i can send u that may help?
