Deleting Service

I will need to delete a Service on my Windows Server 2003, would deleting it
directly in the Registry be alright or there is another optimal way.

Rgds,

Hi topokin
Try the sc.exe tool from the resource kit and this KB article

Hope this helps.
John.

The article link below is W2K (sorry - should have read your post more
clearly!). For 2003, see this link

But without installing the resource kit tools, Windows Server 2003
originally includes sc.exe (executable from cmd), and can accomplish
deleting a service from registry.

I'm not seeing differences between the originally one and the one in
resource kit tools.

Am I right?
