There is so much that can be looked at and you haven't provided much
information.
Are the troublesome machines set to get DHCP automaticall?
Are they joined to the domain?
Can you ping them from the DHCP server?
Can you ping the DHCP server from them?
Are the NICS configured properly?
Are they Windows machines?
Is there a third party firewall, Norton causing trouble?
Drop the Windows firewall on one machine and see if it will connect.
Do you have enough DHCP addresses to hand out to all machines?
Are the drops to the machines good or dead?
