Have run into one of the LSASS.exe errors and Directory services unable to
start issues. Now it says to use the F8 and run Directory services restore /
repair but now this has gotten the system into sort of a setup loop. It
always wants to go into the Setup / Directory services restore but then has
the error about lsass.exe with the 2e1 detail so all it will do is restart.
I am offsite but have ILO working so can at least work on the server. Anyone
have some ideas on how to get into this thing without just doing a system
restore / rebuild? Even safe mode command prompt goes right back into the
DSR / setup. It was a primary DC but there is a backup so users can still
work.
