- Drive Size

Our windows 2003 server is showing our 40 gb hard drive as having 432 MB of
free space. I select all the files and folders and check the properties and
it says that they are 10.5 gb what happened to our 29.5 GB of free space. Any
ideas?

This is a bit odd, but check also for hidden files...

hidden files/folders, hidden recovery partition, swap files, system files,
other volumes can make up the difference. Have you checked them?
Btw, 40GB is the advertised size. Actual size is probably somewhere around
36-37GB.
