- Flash Drive won't work on my Win XP Pro
- Posted by VDO Tech on March 14th, 2006
Hello every one.
I have several flash drive that I use on my computer. Some work fine, but
some do not work, in that Windows tries to search for the driver, and then it
fails to finish. When I bought the flash drives, it did not come with any cd.
I have a late model DELL Pentium 4 with USB 2.0 ports, Windows XP
Professional with all latest updates including SP2.
I have two flash drives that are not working, a Cruizer 1 GB and a Memorex
512 MB.
One more peculiar thing is, I used to connect my Canon SD300 Digital camera
via USB cabel and get a windows Digital Camera Wizard. Now, I fail to get
that as well.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
