Hi Microsoft Engineers,
I have now the same problem like (Ad van den Broek) in the SBS Newsgroup,
but cannot fix it.
I carry out all the solutions described in this thread, but nothing fixes it.
All this started at the beginning of this month with the following Event-Log
error message every time when a user logged in on my citrix server:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1090
Date: 24.01.2006
Time: 19:37:37
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: SHMMF04
Description:
Windows couldn't log the RSoP (Resultant Set of Policies) session status. An
attempt to connect to WMI failed. No more RSoP logging will be done for this
application of policy.
This happened only on one of my citrix server, the other servers in the farm
are ok.
Also gpresult from command line generated the error: Access Denied, also the
mmc snap-in rsop.msc (for user and admin accounts).
I fixed the Event-Log error with the following solution:
Now the error event is away and I can execute the mmc snap-in rsop.msc but
the command line tool gpresult still give me the error “Access Denied”.
I checked the security settings for RSOP in the WMI Manager and find out,
that this distinguished with the security settings on the other servers. I
adjust these security settings like the other servers and rebooted but
nothing helps.
I will give the MS KB 322852 a chance; can somebody send me this file or
have somebody an other solution?
Kind regards marco
