I have made a login.bat file, but where on teh server do i put it?

C:\WINDOWS\SYSVOL\sysvol\[your domain name]\scripts on the server

This is where it ***usually*** resides. However, the correct
location is in the share \\YourServer\netlogon. If that share
points to some other location then the logon script must reside
there.

Note: Both users are correct!!! but not. The question is what server version
you are running; NT or 2000/2003. They reside in different locations of both
OS's.
NT - netlogon
2000-2003 - SYSVOl
