- Printer Drivers Install On Every XP or Upgrade Server
- Posted by soup_or_power@yahoo.com on June 4th, 2007
I had to install the latest drivers for a specific printer Xerox 8500N
PS on a XP machine. I don't want to repeat the process for every XP in
the house. The server has older drivers that worked for some time. Is
there a way to *upgrade* the driver on server to do: in addition to
handling requests from x, y, z versions of Windows, add XP to the
list? Of course, I can make the printer on XP a share if only the XP
stayed on 24x7.
Thanks for your help

Are the printers installed from the Print Server by Point and Print? if
so are the drivers not updating automatically?
