I've already enabled remote desktop administration and
added the appropriate users who need access. Whenever I
use remote desktop connection in Windows XP, the remote
session connects and I'm presented with the logon window.
I logon, but immediately after "loading your personal
settings" it goes to "Logging off" and "saving your
settings" and remote desktop connection disconnects. So
after I login it immediately logs me off, no matter what
user, even admin. I've never seen this problem before and
I've done this several times with other servers.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a limit of 1 connection on WindowsXP... So either you are behind
console or one terminal session. Either of them will disconnect the other...
On servers you can have two connections or more... (it depends on type and
number of licenses)
