Remote Desktop Question
Posted by jc on January 25th, 2005

We have set up some 2003 servers - and the remote desktop is set to
administration mode - that should allow 2 users to be logged on remotely and
simultaneously right??

Problem is that it only allows 1. If another person logs in the original
user gets kicked out? (using same username). Can I sort this out
somehow?

TIA

What you describe is typical for Windows XP Professional.
Are you sure you're running Windows Server? Did you install
and start the "Terminal Server" service?

It is Windows 2003 server and the 'terminal Services' service is running.

I havent installed Terminal Server as figured this is somewhat different.

In windows 2000 server I do not have this problem.....
