Hello everybody, I have a Win Server 2003 Enterprise Edition SP1 with
2 NICs acting as DC, DNS and DHCP server.
Yesterday I set up RRAS to work as NAT with basic firewall for 20
client machines in the internal network, everything works fine, one
NIC used as external interface directly connected to the cablemodem
and the other one as internal interface, all the domain, networking
and Internet services work perfect, but I set up Port Forwarding so
that external clients can see a website (port 80) in the internal
network, and a port forward for an external user to connect via Remote
Desktop (port 3389) to his PC in the internal network and it doesn't
work, It seems like It's not forwarding ports at all. For example If I
try to connect to my website externally Internet explorer can't
display the page, I tested "telnet myexternalipaddress 80" to see if
IIS responded, and I get a blank screen. I enabled ICMP echo response,
and if I ping the external IP address it responds OK
Any ideas on how to solve this problem???
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my english, I'm from Argentina
