- SALDM is using processor time
- Posted by Brad on March 3rd, 2005
I currently have a NAS server, and the processor reguarly spikes with no
useage. I have determined that the SALDM.exe is the reason. This exe runs
the service "Local Display Manager".
I disabled this service and it seems to have corrected the problem. My
question is, what else happened when I disabled the "Local Display Manager"?
Nothing seems to have changed with the LED's, and I want to be sure that this
does not cause problems later on.
Alternatively, is there another fix to the "Local Display Manager" spiking
the processor?
Thanks
Brad
