Updated information regarding the SBS 2003 5 CAL offer that was available
January 5, 2004 - February 5, 2004:

Interest in the Windows SBS 2003 5 CAL offer exceeded Microsoft
expectations. As a result of high demand, 5 CAL packs became back ordered.

We remain on back order, and will complete manufacturing of all remaining
English CALS on Friday March 5. We will begin fulfilling orders
immediately. We should have all orders shipped by March 10.

Manufacturing of non-English CALs will begin next week (first week of
March).

Although we have been communicating the out of stock situation in email
responses through the customer order site, we will increase the specificity
of our communication in order to add more clarity to inquiries.

Please let me know if you have not received responses to your order
inquiries in a timely manner.

Thank you for your patience!

Marie

Thank you for the information. All of our SBS 2003 clients have received their CD3's so should they expect to receive a "paper CAL" in the mail

Hey there Ken!

From what I understand, it will be a piece of paper, similar to the
purchased license 5 packs.

Have a great weekend all!

But don't you think it's amazing that "manufacturing" 25-digit serials
on pieces of paper should require so much effort?

Ah yes!

And I ordered two sets of these and am only being warned that one of the
items is delayed... makes we wonder about the second one.

I got an e-mail today. Mine shipped yesterday. I don't really need the 5
CALS now, but may in the future, so it wasn't a big deal.

I am curious as to what they have to "manufacture" though.

Later,

TowerDave
