- secondary logon service disappears when joining domain
- Posted by JmbfH on October 23rd, 2006
Hi,
when installing a Windows Server 2003 R2 system, the secondary logon
service is available in the "services" list and running.
After joining a Windows 200 Server - AD based domain, this service
disappears from the services list in Win Server 2003 (not just
deactivated, it's listed no more).
I discovered this Problem when trying to install PostgreSQL - it
requires this service. After joining the Domain, installation is no
longer possible (The "RunAs"-Command still works, though).
Does anyone know why the service disappears?
Is there a possibility to reinstall the secondary logon service?
Thanks!
