- SharePoint Server and MSSQL(SharePoint)
- Posted by Robert on March 7th, 2004
During my original installation and upgrade from the
Desktop Engine to the SQL Database, there was an error in
the install. Now the system won't connect to the
database. I have tried everything and am willing to just
start over. But now the MSSQL(SharePoint) installation is
corrupt and won't un-install. Any suggestions? I just
want to remove and reinstall both the SharePoint 2.0
services and the database and start from scratch. The
last usable back-up on the sharepoint was from a pre-
release version that caused all these problems in the
first place, so I don't have a reliable working backup of
the SharePoint services.
Any help would be much appreciated.
