I have set up a software raid 1 with two scsi hard drives.
It looks like it mirrored the hard drive but if I remove
the first hard drive in the mirror and try reboot from the
second half drive it will not recognize the drive as a
boot drive. I would appreciate any help any one can give
me on this.

What type RAID
How was the RAID Setup in the first place...

I see that the link is for support for an nt 4 will this
also work with 2003 server?

Yes, you may perform the similar steps to Windows Server 2003.
The user interface may be a little different, but the concepts are the same.
