- specified authentication package is unknown

I have a 2000 server that's not part of a domain. Sometimes when I try to
connect to a domain share I get the error message ' the specified
authentication package is unknown' and I cannot connect. When I reboot the
server I can connect to the domain. Anybody know anything about this error?
