- Posted by Goofy on January 12th, 2007
I dont know a lot about this so I thought I would ask someone. I want to
make some training movies and Ive heard that WIndows Server 2003 has
streaming technology, can somone explain how I would make use of this for my
scenario.
IE, how to turn it on, how I could benefit ect etc

Hmm I was interested in this a while ago too... Ill get back to you when my
server box is online this afternoon however ill tell you what I can remember
off the top of my head:
Windows Server has Windows Media Server built into it.
If you go to start>control panel> add remove programs>add remove windows
components
in that list you should find Windows Media Services.
Once that is installed you can apparently stream video through the ASX
format
Hope this helps,
Keep me posted
