- System Volume Information folder taking up 90GBs
- Posted by Joe on April 4th, 2007
On a server with 2k3 SP2 I am having a problem with the System Volume
Information folder taking up 90GBs of space on the C: drive. I found a
thread related to the shadow copies but all shadow copies are set to be
stored on drive E: and the system is showing only 26GBs worth of shadow copy
files (max 60GB) and the Sys Vol folder on E: shows as 27GBs.
I have checked the disk for errors and it comes up clean. So if anyone has
any idea as to how to fix this problem I would appreciate it.
Thank you,
Joe

Appears to be something with the Indexing Service's catalogs.
