- Taskbar Buttons DO NOT SHOW

Hi,
since couple of weeks ago and probably after a windows update! no taskbar
buttion is shown on the task bar, Start Menu, Quick Launch and Status Bar
(system Tray) are ok.
so when i need to switch applications, i have to use Alt + Tab keys.
Anyone knows what's wrong?
btw, i'm using window 2003 server.
