- Thinking about turning Windows 2000 Domain Controller into a Windows 2003 Domain Controller

"Hotfixes to install before you run adprep /Forestprep on a Windows 2000 domain controller to prepare the Forest and domains for the addition of Windows Server 2003-based domain controllers"
it says:
Preventative fix: . Service Pack: Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or later
.. Hotfix in article 303077
so I decided to see what 303077 had to say. It says this:
"The Knowledge Base (KB) Article You Requested Is Currently Not Available"
So what's the story here? Thanks.

Hi George,
What service pack do you have on your Windows 2000 server? SP4 I hope :-)

Yes SP4 working pretty good. I could look in the $Uninstall(Hotfix#) directories in C:\WINNT but that won't explain what that hotfix was addressing. I suppose I am fine but I'd prefer to know I am than not. I just have real trouble with new technology having broken documentation.

Articles that you refer to in your post apply only to Windows 2000 running
SP1 and SP2.
I upgraded a lot of domain this year and never had any problems -- all
domain controllers were running Windows 2000 SP4.
