- Posted by VN on September 2nd, 2004
Hi,
I not able to create user under my Domain, and the error
message is:
Windows cannot set the password for "test" because:
The password does not meet the password policy
requirement. Check the minimum password length, password
complexity and password history requirements.
Is there any hotfix that will fit this problem.
Pls. advise. Thanks.
Regards
VN

Does you password meet the password complexity requirement ?
Try this abc@123 this meets the complexity requirement by having letters,
numbers and symbols and by being at least 7 characters long.
This is new with 2003 domains

In windows 2003 by default set strong password policy.
You can change it in Domain Security Policy - Security Settings - Account
Policies - Password Policies - Password must meet complexity requirements
