I've run across a strange issue here and could certainly use some assistance.

I've recently added my first Windows 2003 Standard server to the network.
After that, I upgraded it to a domain controller and began to transfer the
operation master roles to it. Now for some reason I am unable to view any of
the event logs either locally or remotely. The only one that I can view is
the security log file.

I am able to view all other settings and computers. I've verified the group
memberships and it doesn't work even with a domain admin security user.

Any ideas?
