This might be a Backup Exec 11D for Windows Server problem but I
wanted to post here to see if anyone has seen this issue.

I have a VM up and running on a server. I do a backup of the host
server, excluding all the VM data files. During the backup job the VM
crashes with this error "encountered an error when attempting to use
one of its virtual hard disks." I can recreate the error on demand.

What I've tried so far: full check disk and defrag of the VM. Moving
the VM to a new host server.

No backups are running against the VM as a host or client.

Please let me know if a more descriptive post will be helpful.
