- VSS Schedule Question
- Posted by Brillmike on March 15th, 2007
We have VSS copies running from 3:00 am every 10 Minutes for 22 Hours. Disk
Space is NOT an issue. Can i increase the service to run every 10 minutes for
36 hours?, 48 hours? or more to increase the number of 10 minute backups up
to 65 versions(the limit for VSS).

Also, if i increase the number of hours the task run should i then inrease
the number of days the task starts. For example, start 3:00 am every 10
Minutes for 47 Hours, and running every tow days. I am really confused about
how this works, so any and all suggestion would be appreciated. (btw: I know
any vss copy over 65 will write over the original data.)
