w2003 error
Posted by Arto Raiskio on December 4th, 2004

what might solve this error message (no KB articles on Technet)?

Source: Winmgmt. Event ID : 10

Event filter with query "select * from MSMCAEvent_PCIBusError where (type =
2147811420) and (LogToEventlog <> 0)" could not be (re)activated in
namespace "//./root/WMI" because of error 0x80041010. Events may not be
delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

not sure what you mean "what I am doing" as I simply logon to the machine
and routinely scan/read the event log for anything new

if you mean "do I cause the error" then the answer is no as this server
simply started reporting the error but I don't know what it means or how to
solve it as it states "...until the problem is corrected..." (in the
original message)
