Why RPC Server is Unavailable?
Posted by BlueSailor on September 23rd, 2005

Hello,

I have a DC running 2003. But when I try to remote debug from clients, and
when I open Active Directory Users and Computers on the DC, it says that RPC
Server is Unavailable.
I checked the services list. It says that RPC Server is started. But when I
use portqry to see if it is listening on port 135, it says Not Listening.

Anyone who can help me solve this problem?
Thanks very much.

Thank you for your reply.
But there is no firewall enabled on the server.
