windows 2000 server data disk cannot be seen
Posted by John C. Weldin on April 12th, 2005

I restored a system, which had a failed main drive. The data was intact on
the second drive. During the process of disaster recover (using Veritas) the
good drive must have had its image recreated. Now I cannot see the data and
I did not format it (knowingly). The partition manager sees an active
partition, but when I open it from windows explorer it asks to reformat.

Can anyone tell me a tool or software that can recover this data?

Thanks,

John

Hi John, Which drive are you looking to recover? The main drive or the
second drive?
