I am setting a new set of Windows 2003 servers for my company and they
are going to different locations. I would like a secure way of managing
these systems from a CLI. Telnet is very insecure. I would have thought
that MS would have added this ability in with the newest server version,
I guess not. What my question to everyone is, what 3rd party SSH server
side application do you use/recommend? I have tried Cygwin (IMO, its to
difficult to configure and get running and at times, CPU intensive),
FreeSSH, not very secure in the way the user accounts are managed. I
have worked with SercureCRT in the past, but for my budget, its bit
expensive.
What are all of you using to secure your management with Windows 2003?
Your feed back is appreciated.
Thx,
