- windows domain logon issue

hi!
i m havin a windows 2003 server n 40 odd xp boxes connected n im
runnin dc and dns on the same win 2003 server.
Initially i registered every box with a domain user to logon. But,
when I as an administrator wanna logon on to any of the box it is
displaying the domain is not availble. I hav verified all the
connections everythin is runnin fine except the logon part.
on more thing regardin this logon part, theoritically every domain
user can logon on any of these 40 boxes but is not happenin so. it is
displaying to check username, passsword.
so, pls suggest me watta do!

Are the workstations joined to the domain? How is your ip adressing, DHCP
or fixed IP's? Can you login on clients as a local administrator and ping
the domain controller with ip address, servername and servername.yourdomain.whatever?
