2nd Hard Drive

I am thinking of installing a second hard drive with Windows 98, as XP wont
allow me to load some older games.( Alone in the Dark 1 2&3-Monkey Island
ect ).
Will this solve this problem? Any other advice welcome.

You can probably answer some of your question on your own based on the
following, were the games playable when you were using Windows 98?

With regard to what you plan on doing, since you are going to be dual
booting 98 and XP, I assume that is your goal, with partitioning software
such as Partition Magic, www.powerquest.com, you can setup a separate
partition on your current hard drive for Windows 98 and not have to make the
invest in another hard drive.

Third, all things being equal, new additional hard drive or not, if your
current computer came with XP preinstalled, before you do anything, you
should check the web sites of your various hardware, manufacturer's
especially your graphics card, modem and soundcard to be sure there are
Windows 98 drivers available or this will be an exercise in futility.
