Actually, it is couple of files in several directories.
This behavior is also observed with attachments on e-mail.
Once the attachment is received with foreign characters,
it is practically impossible to delete it (since we cannot
access it). The only way I found out to delete the file is
actually removing its parent directory...
Going through Win98 to recuperate the files is tedious and
I am convinced that it is an NT problem since the same
behavior (not being able to access) is observed in
NT/2000/XP.
I was looking for a fix on the OS (patch/Service pack)
side rather than doing the tedious job.
