I HAVE PLACED A 14 PIECE PASSWORD INTO MY MODEM PC AND IT WILL NOT ALLOW THE
LAST THREE LETTERS TO BE ACCEPTED. I HAVE ONLY THE CHOICE OF PUTTING A
PASSWORD IN OR PASSWORD HINT AND ALSO TURN OFF THE COMPUTER. CAN ANYONE
PLEASE SUGGEST WHAT I AHVE TO DO TO REGAIN MY FILES.??? I HAVE OVER THREE
YEARS OF INFORMATION UPON THIS COMPUTER AND SOME OF IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO
ME AND WHICH REALLY CANNOT BE ERAZED.

What happens when you try?
It is normal for the first characters to scroll off on long passwords.
Input the password ignoring the fact the characters scroll off.
Also, please do not use ALL CAPS in newsgroups.ALL CAPS is considered
shouting and rude.
