Every time disc check starts on boot and hangs after checking 73%. System
works fine if disc check is skipped. What is solution to complete dick check ?

The mvp post after youre post,is full of BS...If the CHKDSK hangs at 70%,then
thier's obviously a problem(s)...Try opening event viewer & see if other
problems
are in the OS.Maybe run SFC /SCANNOW From cmd,&/or boot to xp cd,recovery,
select 1 for C: Press enter for password,type:CHKDSK C: /R Once its
thru,type:
EXIT Let xp restart..I would run SFC 1st,then boot to xp cd once thru...
