Failure Message

This is not a Windows dll. The first thing you should do is run a virus
scan. If you come up clean, try going to Explorer and do a search for the
dll. If found, right click, select properties and see if you can find
information about a related program.

You also might check event viewer to see if there are error references there
that might also reveal the application to which it belongs. Open Control
Panel, go to Administrative Tools and open Event Viewer.

Thanks very much. After a virus scan showed clean and a negative search on
Explorer for the DLL, the Event Viewer points an Application Error to Power
Director, a video program. The message has disappeared after upgrading to a
newer PD version.
