my freind has deleted a file and now her computer will not start is there any
way we can fix it with taking it to some who can?
she also dose not have the windows xp disk that runs her copmuter.
please help us as we are stay at mothers

Sounds like you need to do a repair install, which you cannot do without the
XP disk. Check with the PC mfg, if it's one of the popular OEM's they may
have a recovery option on the hard drive to format and reload back to
factory.

Or look in the Recycle Bin and see if the File there and restore it.
