- Log on Troubles
- Posted by Adrian on September 12th, 2004
I ran Ad-Aware yesterday and quarantined a number of
files/folders. When I restarted my computer, Windows XP
went through its normal loading. But when I selected a
user name on the XP home screen, the screen indicated
that it was "logging off"; then "saving server settings";
and then it went back to the XP home screen. Each time I
try to log on, I get this same circular sequence.
Consequently, I am unable to even get past this stage and
utilize my computer at all....or get to Ad-Aware and
determine what was inadvertently (I suppose)
quarantined. Can anyone help?

I am having the exact same problem- now that you mention
it, I did run Ad-aware and it did quarantine some files.
What do we do? Must be somthing important in the
quarantine...
