- Microsoft Management Console (mmc)
- Posted by Ken on October 29th, 2003
Known areas no longer accessible: help & support, restore,
search, ect. Error message: MMC failed to initialize
because it was installed incorrectly or because a portion
of the registry has become corrupted. Make sure the file
Mmcndmgr.dll is registered by running
"regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\mmcndmgr.dll" After
running that command, message reads: Load Library failed -
invalid access to memory location.
A while back i did a complete system recovery and the
computer worked fine for months then this started. I was
never prompted to (re)register windowsXP after sytem
recovery. Any help will be appreciated. I am trying to
avoid another system recovery. I am running WindowsXP on a
Sony Vaio (2 years old).
