- microsoft outlook 6

I am having trouble with outlook. When I attempt to send
mail I get the LOGON-POP3 screen whick asks me to enter a
user name and password. It keeps coming up incorrect. I
am getting quite frustrated with this.
It says that there was a problem connecting to my mail
server and that the password is incorrect.
I fear that I may have entered some information
incorrectly regarding my server.
Can you help me???
Thank you

If you are using Outlook Express and you think you entered your e-mail
account information improperly, open Outlook Express go to Tools, select
accounts, select your mail account, click properties and input the proper
information. You may need to close and reopen Outlook Express in order for
the change to take affect.
If that doesn't resolve it, I suggest you call your service provider and
have them talk you through your e-mail setup.
