- missing icons

i have just install a 80gig hard drive in my computer,
but i cannot see the hard drive in my computer, its in
the systems, and its in the bios, but no icon,system is
asus ava333 m/b, 512 ram,geforce3 ultra 64,motherboard
has the latest bios upgrade
