I am going to install a new motherboard. How do I re-activate my Win Xp
(new hardware).

With new board youll need to 1st boot to xp cd,and do a reinstall
of xp.After that,just open the activate xp icon,if it wont accept,use
the phone-in to microsoft for activation nos.

No you don't. After the new motherboard is installed you boot from the XP CD
and do a REPAIR install.

A Repair Installation is normally required to properly detect the new
