Norton Antivirus 2003 won't install b/c folder is read only

Norton Antivirus 2003 won't install b/c folder is read only: Posted by Jah on June 16th, 2004; When installing Norton Antivirus 2003 it has to access my
system32/drivers file but it can't do anything to it b/c
it is read only. When I try to remove the read only check
for this folder it lets me, but as soon as I check to see
if it saved it, it is read only again. What can I do to
make sure this folder can be accessed by NAV?

Installing applications needs Administrative privileges.

Are you logged in as administrator when trying to install Norton.
