- NT Authority System

I am logged on and in my earthlink log on page and
sometimes quite frequently lately I get a message that
Windows is shutting down because of NT Authority System
Remote Procedure Call.
Then the system shuts down and comes back on and then I
have to re log into Earthlink to get on the net.
Why is this happening.???
How do I stop it.???????
